We visit regularly for breakfast or lunch. Everything we have had had been good. Not much to look at from the outside, but good, reasonably priced food on the inside.
Excellent deserts as well.

Monday is meatloaf day. Had that (cold) with gravy (cold), canned green beans with corn and peas (cold) and mashed potatoes (cold). Took an hour and 8 minutes from when ordered to arrive.* Iced tea for a couple of bucks was hard to get a refill. Portions quite acceptable and not bad taste. Would have been better warm. Had lemon meringue pie for dessert which was very good.
*Wonder how long it would take if food actually had to be cooked for an order? -

Typical processed food menu. Long wait and poor service. It's the 21st century and they only take cash or check, but there's an ATM...which of course charges multiple fees.
If you don't have reasonable standards or expectations for a paid meal you will probably be content. -

Let's be clear - if I could leave Zero stars I would. DO NOT EAT HERE! Service was horrible. It took an one hour to get waters and coffee. An hour and 5 minutes for the food to arrive. The gravy was incredibly bland and tasteless which made the biscuits and gravy not worth eating. The waitress was rude, unprofessional and said things outloud like" You can sit anywhere but hopefully not in my section" to guests. That is an hour and 20 minutes of our lives that we can never get back. Don't make the same mistake we did. Stay away!

Just had the best Ruben sandwich ever....super lean and great service, Barbies a doll. Cash only but there's an ATM so we're good. Ps they're only open October to April but this is a sweet little place.
